For the removal of unsightly or inconvenient benign skin lesions we use a technique called shave excision , this is quicker and much less invasive than the full excisional biopsy as the area typically heals a lot sooner and leaves a much smaller scar if one at all. . Many of the lesions removed within this clinic are done so due to the decommissioning of treatments offered within the NHS .
